Giorgio’s restaurant – celebrating Joe’s birthday.
After the morning event at IKEA with Santa, the adventure continued…
That evening we all headed to Malvern for a slightly belated birthday celebration for Joe.
There is nothing better than celebrating a birthday with a quality pizza at Giorgio’s restaurant followed by a wickedly wonderful Lindt chocolate birthday cake provided by your favourite Aunt.
It is in fact made better when one of your best mates is in Melbourne and he gets to come along and have a sleepover.
I love the smoked salmon pizza and sitting outside with the heaters warming our table is so Melbourne.
The efficiency of our waiter and the quality of the food is a constant plus which is why we loving going back.

Although Joe’s birthday was on the 10th and he had celebrated with a meal at Taco Bills with Helen and I in the way we normally do – just the three of us, it was great to celebrate with a larger group.
After a great dinner, cake cutting and coffee, we made our way outside.
Being the Christmas period we were treated wonderful Christmas imagery projected onto the exterior of the historical Malvern Town Hall which is just across the road from the restaurant.
This is a video of the projection against the walls of the town hall.
